Notice I did not put in Kilgore or Gladewater. Those were in "wet" counties! Not going there.I do recall a place called, "Sugarmans".

Sometimes cruised over to Lee territory, other times, just out of town to Whitehouse or Red Springs. Remember, I live in California.  No one here would know where or what I was talking about. PeeWee, (Rodney Dwire) had the most beautiful 1961 Ford, yellow. Loved that car. We drove thru the parking lot of a drive-in deep in Lee country.  We yelled something out the window and drove off. It got more interesting after that but this is a family forum, so, end of story. Bottom line, PeeWee was a great driver. Somehow my Dad, Pat Chatham,  knew everywhere I had been and we didn't even have GPS. Being a parent, I know, we just know those things.
