I am sorry and sad to have to tell the class that my wife and partner of 51 years and best friend of 57 years passed away on August 13th, 2025.
Christine was an integral part of 16th Squadron, the Chickenhawks, during our time at the academy. She lined up dates, provided rides, and was a part of all our social activities. We were engaged at our Ring Dance and married on Graduation Day in the Cadet Chapel. From then on she was a true Air Force wife, mentoring the younger wives and pitching in to help at every turn. In retirement she helped raise 4 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
Everyone remembers her smile, always positive attitude and willingness to help anyone at any time.

From the class of 2024 commissioning ceremonies. I was able to address both of my former squadrons. SO inspiring, SO heartwarming. A fantastic memory!
