Bill left no living family behind.  He never married and his parents and sister died before him. 

He was a great friend, always upbeat in a group but someone who had a great deal of sorrow in his life.  Bill had a career as a Shipping Agent with Empire Shipping Company and Zim Isreal Shipping Co.  Through these companies he had the opportunity to travel extensively.  He also volunteered with the Vancouver Maritime Museum and the West End Clean Team.  There was no cause of death listed and Bill lived alone in the West End of Vancouver.
