Sharon was the only child of Lillian and Harold Selman and was predeceased by both. Sharon retired early from her healthcare career on Vancouver Island to care for her mother. She was devoted to her many friends, was an enthusiastic gardener and a member of the Embroider's Guild of Vancouver where she developed her craft in needle arts.

I have the fondest memories of Sharon from Simon Fraser. She was intelligent, kind , and sweet and am sure that she continued in this manner in her adult life.

I too have fond memories of Sharon. She lived on the same block and across the street from Sheila M. She was a loving caring girl that wouldn't say a disparaging word against anyone. One sweet lady I knew since grade 5. Later, she would be driving around the neighbourhood in her red Fiat 124. Those were the days of innocents.
