Paul Thompson was my very best friend at Hamber. I knew the whole family well and spent many happy hours at his house on Hudson St. I learned about this accident soon after it happened in 1995. From what I heard at the time, the body was never recovered. Does anyone have any updates on that? Paul was a sweet, funny, creative and adventurous man. He was loyal to his friends beyond measure. I have never stopped thinking about him. He was a renaissance man, very well-read, but also always physically active. He lived life to the fullest, jumping out of planes to fight fires, and diving to the ocean floor. He flew too close to the sun. The good, too often, they die young. RIP ---Elliot
