Hello: Welcome to the club ~~ I was a late joiner too. Has been fun re-meeting some long ago friends. I sadly was not able to attend the 50th ~ I also missed a gathering of those of us living on the Island. Recently we had a small gathering of 'us' that live on Vancouver Island ~ there are 17 of us invarious places on the Island. I am so pleased I was able to attend the last gathering (Only 7 of us) but was a fun time and a delicious lunch at a Pub just south of Nanaimo. I have been living on Vancouver Island since fall of 1972 - from logging camps to now retired here in Campbell River. My 1st child Leanne lives with her family and now 3 grand children in New ZeaIand (North Island.) Have just received some great news ~ They are heading back home to B.C. sometime this coming January/February. I am very much looking forward to their return - can't wait to see & spoil the 3 great grand children (little girl @ 6 yrs, 1st Boy now 4 1/2 and another we lad at 8 1/2 months. I also have a son living with his lovely lady in Vancouver and a 2nd daughter & her husband here in Campbell River. I quite enjoy the Island living but also do love going to Vancouver from time to time to catch up with family (Also have my sister living in North Vancouver.) Nice to see another familiar face joining the group. Marilyn Grant
