Laverne Munnion Owsnett

Working & raising our family came in the 70's and 80's. I worked as a particle analyst and Office Manager for a Diamond Company for 10+ years. I headed up the Marpole Planning Committee for a couple of years and worked with Girl Guides as Commissioner for Surry and Delta. Bob & I have played and managed a Slo Pitch team for 23 years, although we do not play actively any more. Recently I have been volunteering with the Delta Police Community Policing office and working at a senior's center. Bob and I welcomed a beautiful Granddaughter 9 years ago and keeping up with her activities keeps us busy.

I remember being an office runner during Latin class and poking my nose into various classrooms. Always fun to see what was going on. I also remember those awful pictures they took every year. Jan Lorimer, Heather Toreigny (sp?) and I were all trying the same hairdo and there were always mixed rusults.
