I went straight from High School to CWU in Ellensburg, Wa. I had a blast and managed to graduate with my BS in biology in four years.
I moved to Oak Harbor and started teaching here in 2004. My husband was my neighbor and we fell in love. A few years ago we bought a house and have a dog Berkley.
I love my job and it is crazy being a teacher looking back at all of the weird dynamics that make high school the weirdest four years of a human beings life.

I have many great memories playing softball with Amy Schroeder. I also have lots of German class memories with mein freunde Amy Ekroth. I guess I had a thing for girls named Amy. I am proud to say we have maintained our friendships and they both were in my wedding last summer!
I also have memories of being scared to death of Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy!!! Who were they anyway??
