
Terry Peffly, known to his friends as "Peff", passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno, NV.
Terry was born in Dayton, OH in 1944 and moved to California in 1976. he worked as an engineer at Tahoe Forest hospital for 18 years where he met, and later married Jackie. Terry never met a stranger and enjoyed classic cars and camping. he was an exceptional man, a loving husband and father, as well as a "cool" grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlando and Mary Ann Peffly. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jackie of Reno; his daughter, Suni parker and son-in-law, Bobby of Las Vegas NV; his sister Candace Peffly of Dayton, OH;his stepsons, Shawn and Brennan Counts of Sacramento, CA and grandchildren, Kelsie and Skye parker, also of Las Vegas as well as Joshua and Jessica counts of Sacramento. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Memorial service was held Thursday, April 23, 2009.

I could go on and on for days about the good times we had together. I sure did miss the big guy when he and Anita moved out west. He loved it out there but he still always asked about everybody back here.Terry was a guy you did not want to get mad. I seen him in action and he could do a number on a guy right now! But in his heart he was a big ole TEDDY bear.
When Vickie and I rode out west to see him and Anita, he cried like a little kid when we got there.
Terry had a heart as big as they come!
His memory will be with me forever.
