Helen was a wonderful member of our Girl Scout Troop. She experienced a life changing event when we were teenagers. Following the event which gave Helen physical challenges, she demonstrated a self-will to be as independent as possible and to live life to the fullest. Whenever we interacted, Helen was smiling and energetic. How wonderful it is that she experienced 59 years of married life with Don, and they had 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Helen and Don attended our Vandalia Butler 1963 High School Reunions. I always enjoyed visiting with Helen. I am wishing for Helen Eternal Rest with God and her family members who have passed. May Don and the rest of Helen's Family and friends be comforted by wonderful memories of the times they spent with Helen, a beautiful and so precious lady.
