JOHNNY MATSON
Died in July 1, 1954 at the age of 9 as the result of a being hit by a car while riding his bike.Fourth grader at Vandalia Elementary School and attended St. John's Church and Sunday School.

I believe Johnny was killed by a car in the 2nd grade, but not positive, in front of his house. That just seems to be what I remember.Judy Bolinger (Kastner)
Johnny was a really nice boy. His death was such a tragedy and I remember it being very emotional for all of us.
