I feel like I missed out: I mean, I finally realized why I wasn't in the groups of so many of my friend's classes; I was in the academic program, but because I opted to take an extra elective, both Band and Art, and studied English, French, Biology and Math 12, I was in school for longer days than most others, AND I was all over the place as far as a schedule goes... They probably couldn't place me in the same class as most other academics, so I missed out on a lot of 'group' fun. - it was kind of weird being in high school. I never felt I was a part of anything... never felt at home except for times in band. I suppose independence makes you a stronger person but high school was a bit of a drag. — University on the other hand was a blast !

I’d move back but I’d miss the opportunities of playing in numerous locations and various bands that Vancouver offers musicians… still, there are moments I think of Vernon as a possibility… it is “home” to me and I do have great memories of it … We’ll see what happens. Never say never
