Comments:

After graduation I worked at Vicksburg Hopsital as a Pathology Technician. Benny and I met later on down the road, married and moved to Monroe,LA. I went to work for Century Telelphone, Inc. Retired from Century, moved back to Mississippi and thought I wanted to stay home but found out real quick that was not for me. I went to work for Miller Transporters, Inc. in Jackson, MS and retired again ln 2007, moved to Lenoir, NC.

I have three Grandchildren, Brooks (Connor's Mom) a graduate of Caldwell Community College in Boone, NC; Justin a graduate of Mississippi State; Nick who is in the eighth grade at Warren Junior in Vicksburg, MS; and a wonderful Great Grandbaby, Connor (2 years old) that is the love of my life and lives in Boone, NC.

Vicksburg is home and eventually we will move back.

July 1st 2009 we move back to Vicksburg, MS and I must say it is good to be back home. My Classmates/Family have been wonderful for us since we moved back. Benny and I thank the Lord every day for giving us the opportunity to live in the mountains, something we always wanted to do. Living there was like being on vacation....then the Lord brought us back here to be with our
daughter, Sherri who recently found out she has breast cancer.

Today April 25th, Sherri celebrated her 48th birthday and we Praise the Lord for that. She has completed twelve weeks of radiation and has four more chemo treatments. After chemo another PET Scan and hopefully no cancer will show up.

Today May 19, 2010 my beautiful stepdaughter/best friend Sherri finished her last chemo treatment and after eight long months of chemo and radiation she was declared cancer FREE!!!!!! She will continue a preventive every three weeks for another year and with God's blessings she will pull thur this horrible disease. God is so good!

I really don't know of anything I would do differently if I went back to my time at CAHS.

School Story:

I remember the day Mr. Hughes had me sit in front of the class and the other classmates draw a picture of me. That was rather funny and strange.

On the sad side was when Carolyn Biedenharn Boyd read a report she had written about her Grandmother Biedenharn being a diabetic and the surgery she had to have on her legs. That will forever stick with me.
