Mary Ellen Rasco Griffin

My husband and I travel as often as possible. Our travels include Israel, Canada, Hawaii and other states within the USA. We are active in our church. Both of my parents are deceased so as the only girl in my family I try to keep in touch with my brothers and their families. Eating out is one of our main activities. Emailing friends and relatives keeps me up on the latest news. Thank you Annie for letting me be included on your Culkin web page.

2009 was a year of blessings. Winston had major surgery, chemo and radiation and is now in good health. This is a another blessing in our lives. Christmas Eve 2009 our youngest child/son and his wife presented Winston and I with our 6th grandchild. A son, named Noah Winston Griffin. That makes for 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. We also have 2 great granddaughters. Isn't God good to us...and we certainly do not deserve the blessing he grants to us. Thank goodness he loves regardless. I'm concerned for our nation, our state, our county and our church. Join me in prayer for these concerns. See all of you again in October God willing! Have a happy and blessed 2010.

You know growing older robs one of so many memories. I've discovered that I've managed to remember only the good memories. Attending the school reunion and our class reunion last year has been special. Some of the people was a part of my life for 12 years. Friendships have been renewed and this has helped to remember how good school days were most of the time. You know what I discovered returning for the reunions? People remember more about me than I remember of myself!!! Some things I'm hearing are better forgotten!
