Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

Can't wait to see everyone. I missed the last reunion because my son was married on that Saturday. I appreciate all that the committee is doing to get this event organized!

School Story:

So many memories.....English classes and four excellent English teachers, the wisdom of Mrs. Geddings, sitting in order of grade average in Mrs. Berryman's algebra class, learning to type (we didn't know it would be such an essential skill!), having Mr. Khayat as a practice teacher, declining nouns and conjugating verbs in Latin, passing notes in class, meeting at the Teen Center, dances after football games (weren't they called "Mix-ups"?), watching the guys play baseball at City Park, basketball in the school gym, playing softball and tennis, driver's license at 15, cruising the streets back and forth between Burger Chef and Johnny's, "laying out" on the tennis courts to tan before the prom (I skipped a whole day of school for this purpose and came to prom more red than tan), "pallet" parties, "lemon squeezes," hayrides, backwards dances, twisting the night away, "Walkin' the Dog," singing Shirelles songs, speeding down Speed St. to hit the bump just right so we'd go airborne in my Mama's pink Chrysler, racing in the military park, drag racing at stop lights, swimming at City Pool and Redwood Pool, fishing at Eagle Lake and Lake Claiborne, the drive-in, the bowling alley, canasta games, tuna salad on Friday nights at the Abraham's, double-dating, South St., making up dance routines at Nancy G.'s, boating on the river and playing on the sandbar, the Senior Play, the YMCA and Warren's, driving a stick shift on those hilly streets, deer camp at Twin Lake, climbing the winding towers in the park, church youth meetings at Devil's Backbone, Easter sunrise services at Fort Nogales, finding Civil War relics in the Park -- I really could go on and on -- alongside our school experiences was always the wonderful mystery of growing up in the Old South.

Hey, John. Of all the Class of '64 classmates, you and I probably go farthest back as family friends. I am happy to see your update.
