Dotty Jamison Wilson

Personal: Graduated from North Texas State University, 1964. Married John Wilson; raised two daughters in Burleson, TX. Divorced, 1987.

Professional: taught in public school (8th grade English) and substitute taught several years. Worked for newspapers and magazines as a journalist and editor for more than 10 years. Worked in Austin for Lockheed Martin for 4 years; transferred to Denver, CO, for 7 more years. Came home to Texas when I retired. Lived in Waxahachie 12 years; moved to Abilene last year (2014).

Family moved back to Victoria in 1959, and I attended VHS only for our senior year. The main thing I remember is how nervous I stayed most of the year that I might accidentally step on that darn Stingaree!
