Buzz was one of the best little league pitchers when we were growing up. He was feared. Additionally, little league was the first time a lot of us mixed with kids on the "East Side".

I got to know Buzz because my son Chad and his nephew Jermaine were best friends.

What a honor going to Buzz's funeral and having two of my sons Chad and John Carl as his pall bearers.

He never lost that laugh or his sense of humor even when he lost his legs and was in a wheelchair he could still hollar at the refs.....
