Cassidee Nickens Wolter

I earned my BS in Education from Virginia Tech in 1992. I taught fifth grade and then sixth grade in Virginia Beach for six years. Andy and I got married in October of 1997. That was a very busy time... We were both in graduate school (Andy at William and Mary and I at ODU), working full time, remodelling a 1911 home and planning a wedding. He was a nuclear engineer for the Navy at the time. When he resigned his commission, he started a career with General Electric and we started moving for his job. He is now the COO of a company out of Saint Louis. We chose to live in Iowa near his family and he commutes to Saint Louis about three days a week. We've lived in Bloomington, IN, Louisville, KY, and Marion, IA (which is just outside of Cedar Rapids) and now Waterloo, IA (where Andy grew up and his parents still reside). My favorite job while moving around was teaching computer classes at the University of Louisville. We have been blessed with three sons, Joseph (June 2005), Jacob (November 2007), and Andrew (April 2009).
