I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1992 with a BS, then obtained a Master's Degree in Cardiovascular Physiology from Virginia Tech in 1994. My first venture into the "real world" took me to Jacksonville, Fl. I was in JAX until 1998, then moved to Asheville, NC for a position with my current employer, Genentech.
I met my wife, Shelley, in Asheville, NC in 2002. We married in 2004 and shortly thereafter I was able to take a 2 month vacation from work (which was incredible). During that time we were able to travel to Italy and Greece. Our next adventure was a move to San Francisco for about 18 months. We lived in a condo (about 1100 sq ft.) in the city. I had a great experience in marketing with my company and we loved the food and entertainment, however, we decided to head back east after learning we were expecting a baby. Now we reside in Chattanooga, TN -- I'm back in sales, Shelley stays at home with Ashlyn and the grandparents visit often!
My current hobbies include golf, running (not quite as fast these days!), and traveling.
