Annabelle (Candy) Prosser Harris

After Kempsville, I graduated from RAV and was a court reporter for 10 years. I loved working in the courts and eventually had my own business. Court is where I met my husband where he was working as a Virginia Beach police officer.

When my son Connor was born, my priorities changed drastically and I became a stay-home mom. We moved to Maine, where I had my beautiful daughter Victoria.

By this point, Brendhan was a Senior Insurance Fraud Investigator, and his job moved us back to Chesapeake. There I became a computer teacher for a private school and worked at the Norfolk Police Department. We lived there for four years before his job moved us again.

Now we're closer to our families and live in a small, beautiful town in New Hampshire. I went back to college at Southern New Hampshire University and became certified to teach elementary education and general special education in both NH and MA. I taught in elementary school for several years and later switched to teaching adults. I am now an assistant principal for the MA Department of Corrections and work in the super-max men's prison in Shirley, MA. It's a crazy job, but I love it.
