Basketball & Band...Kinda wish I had went ahead and played Football. Also wish All the Drummers had not quit the Band going into our Sr. Year. Luis Patena, Larry Looney and myself (Sr's) along with Tim Riley (Jr) all quit the Band. Kinda got a little cold sitting on that curb in the winter (w/o a jacket). lol Anyway...we got the last hurrah against Mr. Perot. That is until Patena and I,(along with David Holland and Charles Olsen)...all were in the National Guard together where Mr. Perot was known to all as MAJOR PEROT. lol Major Perot treated us all with respect and vice/versa. lol

Have 5 wonderful children and 20 Grandchildren (15 Adopted).
Lived in Kansas for 25 years. Worked at Learjet Aircraft (now Bombardier Aerospace for 18 1/2 years).
Almost died in a serious vehicle accident in October of 1982. The truck I was riding in flipped twice. I was thrown from the truck after the 1st flip and was Life-watched to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks. The Lord saw fit to bring me through it all. I am so very Blessed!
Greatest decision in my life is when I accepted Jesus as my Lord & Savior back in February 1983. God is good...all the time!

Not enough space to capture all the good times at WHS. Though the Basketball trips were always a blast. Going to Crozier Tech in "Big D" our first game our Jr. year and facing the Nations leading scorer in Sammy Hervey. Dude looked like Wilt Chamberlain and my hand "just disappeared" when we shook hands. I thought we had all made it to the "NBA that night". lol Then Raymond Bible (God rest his soul), leading us in a Chorus of "We Lost The Game And We Can Do It Again". We did make some memories! Can anyone figure out why we only played Dallas and Houston schools in non-district? Would have been really nice to have scheduled Reicher, West, and Penelope. Could have used a few more Ws. lol
