Hello to all yall! Can you believe that it's going to be 10 years already? I can't...cause that means we're inching our ways to the 30's!!!

I got married in High School...many of yall don't know that, and 6 days after walking the stage, my husband, a rival Pirate, and I moved to Florida where he was stationed aboard the USS Doyle. We lived out there in Jacksonville for 4 years and loved every minute of it.

I dabbled in college and tech schools, and never had that calling of "what I want to be when I grow up" so after his enlistment I raised my right hand & joined the Army. Figured I would be "Hooah" for a couple of years.

I was stationed in Monterey, Ca for almost three years. While there, I had our first baby, a little boy that we named Alexander Louis, but his nickname is "Rambo".

Next stop in my military career was onto San Angelo, what an armpit! I stayed out there for a couple of months and was finally stationed out here in San Antonio, Tx. The first time that I have been close enough to our hometown to really get the chance to hang out with my folks! In March 2009 we welcomed our second baby boy, Isaac Anthony, who we lovingly call "Chunks"!

I am currently retired, true story, from the Army and am attending Our Lady of the Lake University in pursuit of my MS in CISS. I will still be a college student by the time of our class reunion...kinda sad! Oh well.

I think that FaceBook kind of ruined the surprise of seeing all of yall because I truly do know what most of yall have been up to and what your babies look like. It's still going to be exciting and am looking forward to it.

School Story:

So my memory in High School is limited because I'm just plain forgetful of facts & names. I am amazed at the detail that some others put in their profile. Here goes....

I remember getting hugs from Patrick, a special needs student, and loved how free he was as he walked the halls and just talked with everyone

Shocking, but I cheated in Chemistry with my BFF Lindsey Willis!

Being freaked out to change in the locker room because the coach's office was right across the way!

Hating towel drills or wall squats or running the entire campus...we would try and cheat, but the coaches would drive by or snitches would snitch!

Hitting a car with a sledge hammer

I am pretty sure that I didn't do any work my senior year in Calc...& I remember Matthew K., I believe, scratching my fresh tattoo because he didn't believe it was a real one!

Mariane Sloujs, our foreign exchange student our senior year. We had her family come over and my momma made Tacos for them and they didn't know how to prepare or eat them.

Skipping Home Ec to go grab breakfast tacos!

Sad, but I remember the day that Pricilla was in the cafeteria, talking to everyone and super happy. I wanted to ask her a question but before I got up she had left...that was the day of the accident.

READING SO MANY BOOKS during the summer! Really? HA! But it's actually pretty great that I had such amazing English teachers.

What did I learn from history class from Coach Anderson...hmmm....

All the silly fights and gossip

TP'ing houses and nearly falling out of the truck bed as they hauled to get out!

Finally getting to park in the front parking lot!

Getting yelled at as we were waiting to walk into our graduation ceremony for having glitter/confetti!

Sr. Andrades...he tried so hard to teach us Spanish.

The day before I took my SAT's I had stayed out super late with my boyfriend and was mad crazy tired the day of the test. I think that I fell asleep for a little bit

BEEPERS!!!

My sweet little black car, brand new Mirage that my daddy bought me...I wrecked it leaving school!!!

Graham Central Station...Giant Black X's on my hands!!!

Malls were cooler back in our day...and if you were real hard up, go to Walmart and see if you run into anyone you know (no cell phone back then)

Lindsey, Tubs & I would go to the drag races...I made Tubs take me back into to town one time to use the restroom because I refused to pop a squat out in the field

& finally my most favorite memory...I met my most favorite boyfriend the summer before our Junior Year at the Bellmead Pool where I lifeguard. 100% opposite of the guys that I normally picked. I ended up marrying that boy in April of our senior year...eloped in Chicago one weekend. We have been happily married for 10 years now.
