What's up Class of '99!?! What are your ideas for our 10 year reunion...I'm thinking we should celebrate in May, Jun, July or Aug of 2009 and have 3-day (Fri/Sat/Sun) events in Waco. I have a few ideas but I want to hear from you...Post your ideas so we can get to planning for a great reunion!

I'm with you Christalyn, we really have to do something awesome. I love the whole three day thing. We should set it in stone soon so that people can start planning, so we've got to get on it. Everyone put your ideas out here even if there crazy!

okay, so I think we should for sure do at least friday night and saturday. These are some ideas just to throw out there. Friday could be something simple like dinner and drinks as an ice breaker, somewhere that we all freguented in HS. My two fav's were George's and Tom's...this would not be the formal hooraw..but just an introduction to the weekend. What do you guys think? Where did you guys hang out?

Okay, I've been trying to think of where in Waco would be awesome to spend an entire day and possible night...
Two possibilities that you guys may think are crazy but I'll throw em' out there...Senior year in Band..yes I know I'm a band dork..but proud of it..we had a lock in at one of the country clubs...we could play tennis, racket ball, swim (indoors and outdoors) and tons of other stuff all night. It was really fun. Just a thought...
Second possibility and one I think would be awesome if we can $$$..have you guys ever heard of Moon River Ranch??? It's a georgeous place out in Satin, Tx (15 minutes from Waco) Check out their website. IT may be a little pricey..but hey it's our reunion!! They have lots to do and it's a really nice setting. I contacted them and hopefully they will get back to me and let me know if it's an option.

Okay..everyone has homework, we need your ideas or we will end up like c/o 98...eating at Heitmillers..don't get me wrong back in the day I could tear up some Heitmillers..but We should do something a little more memorable! Just my opinion :)

I agree Jennifer! Check on that place in Satin and lets get this reunion rolling! Everyone post your ideas because this is YOUR REUNION and we will not be having dinner & a game only (boring!!). Love you guys, see ya at the game Jen.

I think July sounds good. Could we do something family oriented on one of the days? I'm sure many of us have kids that we'd like to show off : )

I also like the idea of an informal dinner. George's is good. Ninfa's has a party room in the back and tasty margaritas....just a thought!

Moon River did contact me back~via email. They asked about how many and what we would like to do before they give us a quote. In a month 20 of us have said yes...and we figure with family members that's maybe 30-40...we know we won't get everybody..but were hoping for about 60, which I think we can do if not 80, but I'm optimistic :)

I just wanted to say that I went with JOsh to his reunion and while it was only a handful of folks and at heitmillers, it was a really good time. I guess their class officers did not plan the event so a few great people stepped up to last minutely throw it together with little help. So..It really makes me excited for ours because we have so many great people working together to plan it.

When some of us were talking about our reunion we were discussing our options and budget. Some of us have seen reunions range from just paying for your own dinner, to 250 per couple ticket. We are thinking maybe going somewhere like 100 or 120....I know it's a little high...but if we put back 10 dollars a month it will be just about there. Give us your feed back. We want it to be a great event.

Misha...so far we are thinking possibly doing a sunday family picnic to show off the kiddo's!
