oh yeah,

If you know of someone who is maybe not as computer savy...let them know about the site or myspace!!! We definelty need to start spreading the news like crazy!!

Look up your old friends and HOLLA at em'!

Oh, if you know someone one who was a Pirate for most of their schooling, but maybe moved away, they are still invited. They didn't have to walk across the stage with us to be considered in our class...if they consider themselves part of us...we'll have em'!

Moon river would run some serious dough...so we'd have to raise some money or be willing to fork out a couple hundred each...Plan B?

I think y'all have great ideas, and like Jennifer said if we start putting some money aside now it won't seem like much when we finally have our reunion.

What if we did the Shriner's campground near China Spring? It's been a while since I have looked into it, but they do have a great banquet hall. We could possibly have a D.J. and a dance or something? I'm not sure, but I think it would be a little more inexpensive than Moon River Ranch -- although it's a gorgeous place!! Just a thought . . .

I think next summer sometime would be great!! July or early August would be best for me.

I would say to look for somewhere other than heitmillers for food. I would suggest Se Cocina (5th & Austin, downtown waco) or Ninfas. Georges has a nice banquet room (for rent though). July or August is good for me and an easy solution for one of the 3 days that is next to free and has an ample amount of room would be a pavilion at the lake. Plenty to do outside and we could even have a few boats out.

I really like the lake idea. Especially for the kiddos!

I am loving all of the ideas that are being thrown around. George's was always one of my favorites and I know we are ok with purchasing "tickets" to our weekend extravaganza as long as we know in advance the exact amount! July or August is great for us as well!!! YEAH! I am pumped :)

I've heard good things about Se concina. It's a nice place that would lend to going semi formal if we so wish. I love the lake idea also...(minus the whole swim suit issue...LOL)

Lovin' the lake idea....I'm due in April, so yeah...I'm not too sure if I'll be in a swimsuit by that time....but I guess we'll see! lol George's sounds good too! So Adam, you gonna run the grill at the lake? Remember Josh's 21st birthday party in Austin when you were cooking for everyone.....even offered the cops something to eat?! lol that was a interesting night.

Has anyone given anymore thought to setting dates? So far July seems to be good for everyone. We should probably try and plan something soon so that if we need to we can make reservations and so we can plan other summer trips around our reunion weekend.

Yeah I have the grill thing covered. It just hit me that we have been out of school for 10 years...

Are you sure Adam? Thats alot of work! I was looking at Georges catering menu and the prices range from $6 - $9 per person. Which is $6 for burgers, $8 for bbq and $9 for fajitas. Those prices are if we pick up the food. It will be a little more if we have it delivered. Just a thought. =]

Has anyone came up with any more ideas or dates?

03/04/09 11:05 AM #26

Adam Fetsch

Yeah thats a lot of money we can save and I can save us some money with free cups, forks, paper plates ect. But yeah I have the cooking thing covered. We just need to pitch in on the cost of food.
