Her Last Name was Hernandez Tovar. I remember when she first came to La Vega when we were in 5th grade she didn't know much English and I didn't know much either but still they had me translate. I'm sorry that her life ended that way. I don't know much of what happen to her after graduating but I know she had two kids. Read the newspaper about how she died or listen to the news.

Carol was such a sweet person, i wasn't close to her after school, but i am good friends with a family member and it's sad to know that things like this happen. All I can do is pray that those kids have a God-fearing, strong support system around them to help them transition through this tough stage.
