Man, It seems like yesterday that I seen Dana at MCC waiting for her son. I didn't even know she was sick. I will miss her. I know she is in a better place. My prayers go out to her family.Kerry Kone (Sosa)
It is just so sad. She was at the reunion and just seemed so full of life. You just never know when the Lord will decide to call you home.Cindy Rounds (Cobb)
Dana Dane,Your spirituality really shined through in the last email I received from you. I was sincerely touched by your positive attitude toward life with all that you have suffered through in your short life. You will truly be missed!
I am so blessed to have been reunited with Dana before her passing. Life is too short guys...lets keep in touch as much as possible!

I still can't believe that Dana has passed. I have so many fond memories of times that she and I have had together at school and home. I am happy that she is no longer in pain and is now with her savior. I will always remember her smile and the good times. My prayers go out to my cousin Kalvin, the kids, and the rest of her family.Roberta Langford (Weihsmann)
It saddens me to hear of her dying young with children still at home. I am glad to have known her. My prayers are with her husband, and children.Renee Brown (Collins)
Dana was in my life for over 31 years. We went to Alta Vista, Sul Ross, University Junior High and then University High School together. All of my school memories have Dana present in them. We lived only a few streets away from each other our entire lives. When Dana passed away I felt like I was losing a good part of myself. I just don't know how to say good-bye to my friend, my sister, my family, Dana. The most beautiful part was that Dana was completely sold out to Jesus. The bible says, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know that Dana is in a better place but I just wish that I had a chance to be with her a little longer.
I miss my friend. She had the best laugh and smile especially when she was telling you something juicy. (smile)
My most fond memory of Dana is when she had her first big concert playing the Viola at Alta Vista Elementary School. They played the theme song from Charlie Brown. I was so proud of her then and am even more proud of the life that she has lived. She was a beautiful person.
See you on the other side Dana.

We were so sad to hear of Dana passing away. She was such an inspiration to Jay and I. Dana wrote wonderful words of encouragement to Jay and myself. She was a very special lady and we will never forget her.Dana Bridgewater (Thomas)
Hello everyone, this is Dana's youngest son, Jordan. I appreciate all of you that is part of the class of 88. She loved each and every one of you. She used to talk about ya'll and never would stop. You should have seen that smile she had when she came home from the recent class reunion. She told me how much fun she had with her old friends. I just want to thank all of you for making that class reunion one of the greatest times of her life while she was living. I just want to let you all know that the family is well and we are staying strong. I ask that you all will pray for my father, because she was his "rock". Even though he's trying to hide it, I know that he's hurting bad. And to my mother, I dedicate my basketball season, education, and life to you because that's all you wanted me to succeed in. I love you dearly.Sincerely yours, Jordan
