What have you been up to since last we met in 2011?

I moved to Mansfield, Texas to be closer to Ray and his family and to Mom who was in West Rest Haven before the explosion and is now in Clifton (at age 97). Chris moved in with me when I moved to Mansfield and went two years to Tarrant Community College and then went to A&M for two years to get his degree in Geology. He moved back in last May and is awaiting improvement in the oil industry.

In the past five years I have taken lots of trips usually with Chris, but sometimes alone. I've also gone on six cruises out of Galveston, a couple of vacations with Ray's family now that I have grandkids, and lots and lots of concerts.

Since the first of this year I've attended eight concerts. Currently I'm on a trip with Chris to the Columbia River Gorge, the Oregon Coast, and the California Redwoods. Yet before the Reunion we will see John Fogerty, Foreigner, and the Oak Ridge Boys. On June 17th I'm headed to see Three Dog Night in Wisconsin, that night on the shores of Lake Michigan and two nights later on the shores of Lake Superior.

I've been taking Mom's advice to "do it while you can" and the more aches and pains I get the more I appreciate the wisdom of her words.

What is your most vivid memory of Reicher?

Bill Staton, Mitchell Bukala, Thomas Scanio and I hung out together all of the time. One day at lunch Mitchell poured a whole big bunch of sugar into his tea. There was a small mountain of sugar at the bottom of the glass. He lifted it to take a drink and I asked him if he wasn't going to stir it. He replied that he wasn't because he didn't like it that sweet. Somehow I felt that that just sort of defined us.

Sorry for being a couple of days late, but, it sounds like from Mary Ann's remarks that you had a very nice birthday even though my best wished didn't arrive in time. But, in order to get ahead on the Birthday Wishes, I hope you have many more happy ones!!!!

As a side note, I still remember time during the St. Mary's days one fall when the Sister offered to let the students tell about there summer vacations. I remember you telling everyone about your trip to the Florida Keys and you rode from island to island to island over long, long bridges over lots and lots of ocean. Totally blew my mind! Have another
great year!

This picture is of me with Peter Noone, the "Herman" of Herman's Hermits, taken in March. He is autographing a poster that I pilfered from the South Point in Las Vegas on August 4, 2014 after being there for his shows on three consecutive nights. Someone in the hotel of some sort of authority, I think, told me I could have it, so I took it on the way to the parking lot and drove from there to Montana and back to Texas with it on the back seat of my car. The poster has over 3500 miles on it and now has a very prominent place in my sun room. Incidentally, last night I looked at Peter's website, peternoone.com, and saw that I am on one of the on the three or four pictures that scroll by when you open website. It was taken at the August 3rd concert. I am on the bottom center.
