Shakima Rue Ratliff

After high school I went to community college and recieved two associate degrees in teaching. I later started working with children in Monroe, but I relocated closer to home so now I currently work for UCCA Head Start in Wadesboro. I have been working there for 5.5 years. I am also back in school and UNCP to recieve my BS in education, I have less then a year. Once I received my degree I hoping to go into public school. I recently got married to my elementary sweet heart we dated for 13 years before we decided to get married and we have on child a boy. Life has been good.

As proud as we all are that new president is Obama, me and my family will never forget that day of inauguration it took place on my sons eighth birthday.
