I would have been in the graduating class of 1972 had we not been shipped off to Laurinburg. Although I graduated from Scotland High, my fondest memories of school days belong to Wagram. Mrs. Murray, Mrs. McKinnon, Mrs. Monroe, Mrs. Smith and so on and so on...all the teachers who knew more about me than I did! But without a doubt the best memory of all is the smell of chocolate chip cookies being baked up in the home-ec department. That delicious aroma wafting through the halls of Wagram High---no other cookie has ever come close and I have never forgotten that wonderful smell...
