Marlo Torres Garcia

Attended University of Hawaii at Manoa and while Managing the UH Men's Volleyball team from fall of 1999 to spring of 2005 (i know, took me forever to finish!!) I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. February 2006 moved to Los Angeles and started my Nursing career at UCLA Westwood on their Blood & Marrow Transplant/Solid Tumor Units. Then relocated to Downtown San Diego in 2008 because of Love... Work, Travel, work, travel, play in the city (LA & SD) and now planning a wedding, is my life in a nutshell!!! :)

ran the Honolulu Marathon 2007 and just came back from my first Medical Mission in the Philippines.

I have been engaged since July 2008 to Ryan Garcia from Waimea, Big Island. We met at UH in 2000, then he moved to San Diego in 2007 to attend Cal Western Law School. One word to describe Ryan: PASSIONATE, in all aspects in this wonderful life!!!

Been a part of NCAA championship, walked the Great wall of China, went tubing in the Adriatic Sea, took part in living a completely green lifestyle on a tiny island in Fiji, pushed anesthetic medications and placed an endotracheal tube in a patient in the Philippines!!!

Hawaii and California

was an extra in Blue Crush during the Luau scene at Ko'olina. I was a "special extra" (says the casting lady) because i had to wear coconut bikini and pareo. was not fun to wear at 0200 in the am without a jacket around. was an extra in will farrell's semi pro. went to a Jay Leno show when Christina Aguilera performed.
