Larry Joe Morris, 54, of Wake Forest, passed away Thursday morning, March 15, 2012 at WakeMed. He was born on March 9, 1958 in Mayking, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 7 o’clock, Saturday evening, March 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

Mr. Morris is survived by his father & step-mother, James Hayden Morris & wife, Gaynelle, of Lexington, KY; siblings, Jimmy Dean Morris & wife, Paula, of Wake Forest and Lydia Newberry & husband, Stephen, of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his mother & step-father, Edwena Wampler Rogers & husband, Thomas and by his siblings, Daniel Morris and Sally Elizabeth Morris.
