sorry once again that I wasn't at our medicare reunion.  My son and family were here from Evansville.  My grandkids live too far away for me not to be with them.  This is just a bad weekend for me because of the tractor show going on in Rushville, and they come up for that and to visit. I would love to see everyone.  I seen where Jeff mentioned that perhaps on Aug. 24th at noon, that some of you may try to meet.  Again, I still work part-time, and work until 2:15 of a day, DARN!  But hopefully I can get together if you meet another time again.  Glad everyone had a good time and great pictures Lyman.  You all take care, Connie

I really enjoyed our Medicare Reunion. It was good to see everyone again after two years. A lot has happened over the last two years several of us have lost parents and spouses and all of us have or will reach the BIG 65 this year except for Joann, who by the way looks great for having been  through what she has this year.  My heart and prayers go out to Alan, we missed you and hope to see you and Vicky soon. I won't be able to join you for lunch on August 24 because I have to work, but hope to join you at another date. Sheila it was great to see you after all these years and since you are now in the neighborhood hope to see you more. Hope to see you all sooner rather than later.

Aice

Dear Friends,

As you may know, I lost my high school sweetheart in November.  Mike had been struggling healthwise for some time, but he always pulled through----but not this time.  He was tired of the struggle and had told me that he was ready to go.  How does one let go of someone they have known since grade school and have been married to for 45 years?   On November 29, Mike went home to be with the Lord.  It has been extremely difficult---such a void in my life!!.  How do I function without my other half?  What do our grandchildren do without their Gramps?  How does our old dog, Boots, function without his master?  How do we have family get-togethers without Mike?  How do I go to church knowing Mike will not be sitting in the choir loft?  And the list goes on!!

Oh yes, how do I come to a 50 year class reunion without my high school sweetheart?  Well, I can't.  Yes, I should, but I can't.  Yes, I want to, but I can't.  Yes, Mike would want me to, but I can't.  I admit I'm a wimp!!  Mike loved Waldron High School and loved all of you, so I ask you to eat, laugh, and laugh some more, and enjoy those fond memories of WHS Class of 1965 in honor of Mike and all our deceased classmates.

I certainly have many fond memories of all of you and send my love and good wishes to each of you.  Have a great time as you celebrate our past!!!

Your classmate,

Linda Sawayer Morgason.

Linda I wish you would change your mind and come to the reunion. It may help in the healing process to come and laugh and remember with us, but if you can't you can't.  We will all miss Mike and also seeing you but we will eat and laugh and remember and keep you both in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and your family and maybe at a later time we can get together.

Love and best wishes Alice

Linda, so good to hear from you.  I am so sorry for your loss.  Mike was always such a great guy.  I can see how it hurts so much, but yet, only you can feel the real pain of that. We so wish you would come to the reunion, it may help to see all the classmates that you and Mike thought alot of, but again I am not in your shoes.  If you can't, we understand that too.  We would all just love to see you again.  Again, I am so sorry that you have to go through this pain, and I will be thinking of you and praying that it gets easier Linda.  God bless, Connie

Sorry some of you didn't make it to the Big One. I think we all had a very good time at the racetrack. It was good to meet at Steve and Sharons on Friday hope we can do that again soon. Hope that everyone who had to travel got home safe and sound. Thanks again to Steve and Sharon for Friday and the ones who set up Saturday.

Hope to see you all again soon.

Take care Alice

I want to say how much I enjoyed the reunion.  Great job by the committee - sorry to say I feel I let you all down and dumped it in your laps.  Next time I will be more help.  We missed those of you that could not make it.  Everything was very nice, from the decorations to the dedication for our lost classmates and the food.  Thanks again for all the time and work you spent putting it together. Really enjoyed seeing each and every one of you who could make it.

What a great class reunion from the gathering at Steve and Sharon's home on Friday to the festive party at the Casino! It was such fun catching up with old (old??!!!) friends and their spouses! Several of us felt that we would like to get together more often, either at our homes or other venues. We can post invitations on this web site! Hope to see you soon!

Great photos, Jeff!!!    Some great shots.  Too bad you didn't get a 'selfie' in there.

I hope someone (ie Sheila and Chuck!) have more pics to share.

I'm sorry that I didn't pull my camera out of the bag to add more pix to the mix.

I really enjoyed this reunion.  It was fun and really nice to see everyone (that bothered to come) and catch up.  As I've said before, the only problem with that night was that it was just over too soon.   There were many people there that I really wanted to talk to in depth that I never got to.  I hope we can all get together again soon.

Best wishes to all, WHS Class of '65!  (Good lord, 50 years! ... how in the $%&$ did that happen to us?)

Lyman

PS  I do understand that some classmates had personal circumstances that prevented them from making it to the reunion, but I am really disappointed that more of you couldn't make it.  I really had hoped to see you.

Hi classmates, so disappointed that I missed the reunion.  I have heard many good things about it.  I see the wonderful pics and wished so much I could have been there.  Hopefully some of us can get together soon, and thank you all for missing me.  You did miss me, right? LOL  Hope to see ya soon, Connie

I just saw the great pictures. It is hard to believe that not a one of us look any older than graduation day. It truly was a good evening.  I agree Lyman that it was too short.  There were some people I did not get to spend time with and wish I could have.  I have received some great news that I would like to share with you.  I have been accepted for lung transplant and signed all the papers yesterday.  I will officially be on the list about next Tuesday.  Thanks for all the prayers, they have been answered.  I feel blessed.  Please keep the prayers coming as I know I will have a tough road for a little while but it will be worth it in the end.  I can't wait to get on with the rest of my life and be able to be active again.
