Mark G. Cunningham, 49, Shelbyville , died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 1996, at Major Hospital

Born April 7, 1947, in Columbus, he was the son of W. E. "Bill" and Argel (Shriver) Cunningham.

He maried Sherry (Barton) Cunningham on Jan 15, 1983, and she survives.

He was president of Cunningham Gardens in Waldron.

Mr. Cunningham was a member of the Shelbyville First Christian Church, the board of directors of the Indiana Nurseryman's Association and the American Nurseryman's Association. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Tonia Cunningham, Phoenix, Ariz., and Ashley B. Cunningham, Shelbyville; and one brother, Pete Cunningham, Waldron.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Shelbyville First Christian Church with the Revs. John Hinant and A. W. Farnsworth officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Christan Church or the Shelby County Heart Association.
