James A. Crosby, 60, of Columbus, IN, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove.

Born on Nov. 12, 1946, in Shelbyville, he was the son of James W. and Marcella R. (Hey) Crosby. He married Teresa Waddle on July 10, 1982, and she survives.

Other survivors include his children, William H. Crosby and Jamie R. Crosby, both of Columbus, and a brother, Gary M. (wife, Annette) of Shelbyville.

He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Mr. Crosby was employed as an engineer at Cummins Engine Co. Inc., where he had worked for 37 years.

He was a member of New Hope Christian Church, the Elks and the Moose Lodge.

Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh
