Paul Cox, 41, of 4133 Hoover Court , Owensboro, KY , died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1988, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital . He was born in Shelbyville , Ind. ; was a member of the board of directors and an active member of Owensboro Babe Ruth Association; and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Karla M. Kulka Cox; three sons, Joseph E., Stephen E. and J. Brian Cox, all at home; five brothers, Roy Cox of Waldron, Ind., Richard Cox of St. Paul, Ind., Charles and William Cox, both of Shelbyville, Ind., and Raleigh Cox of Rushville, Ind.; three sisters, Virginia Williams of Waldron, Mary Lou Brown and Julia Burch of Shelbyville.

Memorial services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home.

Burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens . There was no visitation. The family requests that expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Owensboro Babe Ruth Association. Contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
