Comments:

I kinda got a slow start since I didn't really pay attention that well in class. In fact, I don't think I ever did pick up my diploma...maybe I can make that a goal for this year. That and studying every episode of "I love the 80's" I can get my hands on so I'm sharp for the reunion. After "graduation" Michelle Thomas and I moved to Spokane in search of concerts and community college. We moved back six months later when we still weren't enrolled in school and Donny Osmond was the only one who came to town. I ended up going to WWCC and really enjoyed taking my time to get through that...I spent three of four years going off and on...went to WSU to the Edward R. Murrow school of broadcasting and graduated in 1994 and came back home immediately. I worked for a small radio station here in Walla Walla for 3 months for free and waited tables. WSU Professors tell you when you go into radio...expect to live with your parents for an extra decade...that was pretty close to the case for me. Not a lot of money, but a lot of fun. I worked there until the station was sold and the signal was taken over. Somewhere along the way, I met a record company rep in Nashville who later started a national countdown radio show and he has me do weekly segments for that. These days I work from my studio at home once the kids are in bed. When I first started in radio, I met my husband Jeremy who had moved down here for the station. We've been married 11 years and have 3 girls and a boy running around the house, or I guess I should say running the house. I bet of everyone I would have been voted least likely to have four kids! It kind of forces you onto the minivan scene...I still have the same best friends from High School and I love seeing so many people from our class around town.

School Story:

I don't know...all I remember is seeing Mr. Neher get pegged in the head with a snowball pretty hard on a cold winter's day...I didn't see where the shot came from but I remember thinking somebody was dead meat. My other favorite cross campus moment was witnessing a seagull relieve himself on the head of someone I really didn't care for. That was a good moment. And don't worry...it probably wasn't you I'm talking about...seagulls crapped on people's heads all the time back then, but this person really deserved it!
