I'm playing life as it goes. But definitely, there's always a backup plan. I graduated from UCR in the Fall 2004 with a B.A. in Biology. Went to Barcelona, Spain for a summer during study abroad and traveled a bit around europe. I've planned on going back for some more though, probably as a travel nurse. Volunteered at Queen of the Valley Campus Hospital (QVC) ER/Triage for over a year, in which community service has become one of my favorite hobbies. Worked with Cole-Schaefer Ambulance as an EMT for a little while. Went to Nursing School at Mt.SAC 2005 and passed my boards on October 5th 2007. Interned as a nurse at QVC ER for almost a year. Ended up working as Registered Nurse for 1 year in the DOU/Telementry Department at Intercommunity Hospital in Covina. Transferred to Surgical Intensive Care Unit few months ago. Now...plan on becoming a Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist, which is another 3 years of school (a master's program). Saving up for a down payment for a house in the near future. I'm trying to enjoy every bit of my life right now, and to learn and to experience as much as I can while I'm still young. I'll keep you posted. Drop a line, whether if I know you or not.
