I've been happily married since July 17, 1999. My husband and I will be celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary the weekend of this 40th reunion! I currently live in Grass Valley, CA, and have made the Sacramento region my home for over half my life now.
I retired from the State of CA on my 55th birthday, after 32 years. I spent most of my state career setting policy for the licensure of both, in-home and commercial childcare facilities throughout California, and helping keep children in a childcare setting safe.
My husband and I met shortly after I relocated to the Sacramento area in 1989. He grew up in Alhambra, CA. Together, we have raised boy/girl twins who will be leaving for college in Arizona this August! (And just like that, we'll be "empty-nesters!!") We look forward to what God has in store for us in this new-found freedom and where we will experience this new chapter in life.
