Deborah Harrison (Young)

Thanks, Donald, for sharing the pictures...now I remember the reunion! LOL!
Hey, you all, check out the billboard in Walterboro with the huge photo of David Williamson...he must be a celebrity in Walterboro! He sure hasn't changed any...they must have used an old photo!

Yes, Debbie, David still looks like that and he has all my retirement money. I trust him, but not the stock market.

Hi Pam, I feel your pain about your retirement money!

Ann Heverly, you will not be hard to ID. I saw you at the Lassiter High School concession stand a few years back and knew immediately who you were.

Ann Heverly (Ingram)

Hi Wayne, I had forgotten about Lassiter. Great to hear from you!!! Tommy, you have to talk Margaret into posting pix of her on camel in Egypt!! Can't wait to see everyone!!!

PHOTO CHALLENGE: Margaret's picture on the Camel is great, she had it at the last Committee meeting. Collectively class members have accomplished some amazing things. Margaret and Judy Smith both survived major California hurrcianes. I cannot imagine.
If you have not done so, look at Deborah Harrison's picture in Anactica.... if you can recognize her under all the coats.
We are trying to get Judy to come home for this reunion, it you want to send her a note of encouragement, let me know and I will get you her address.
Take care, Alta Mae

Hi everyone....I have to spread good news that we heard last night. Our 'baby' boy gave his girlfriend a diamond last night. We are thrilled beyond mention! She called to tell us and she was so excited she couldn't get the words out so Josh had to tell us instead. She was crying, giggling, hyperventilating...the whole works. We loved her from the minute we met her and I knew it would end up this way. They are both good for each other. They met on May 22nd, the following May 22nd was their first date and they plan to marry on May 22nd once she finishes law school. YEA!!!

Mary Gail.....you must be so excited. I know it will be a fantastic wedding........just remember that something is always forgotten. My last stepdaughter was married on the beach at Edisto and she and I forgot her bouquet and left it in the house. It all went fine. Pam

Donna Lemacks (Sumner)

DONALD, thanks for the pictures. They bring back such good memories.
ALTA MAE, I read your note about the "hurricanes" and didn't even catch the error. That makes me worse than you! Thanks for all the efforts that you put forth to improve our community.
CINDY, there's one good thing about skinny legs....You CAN cover them up! There's no way to cover up the extra lbs. that I've accumulated during the last 40 years.
MARGARET, were you REALLY on a camel? I can't believe that Danny let you do that. We definitely have to see that picture.

03/04/09 05:27 PM #35

Pam Hascall (Berry)

Oh Donna, you have no idea what Margaret's camel was doing. Lets say a picture is definitely worth a thousand words. Hope to see you soon, Pam Berry

O.K. Enough already. Margaret: post that picture on your profile. Make sure you let us know when you do it so we can all see this wonderful experience you had!!

Margaret, where is the pix??? You have to post it. This message forum is great. I really enjoy reading about everyone. Great way to catch up and stay in touch.

Congratulations Danny. Grandchildren are wonderful...just ask me and Margaret. I had my 11 month old this weekend and I am pooped! She loves her granddaddy but she loves her grandmomma more so I carried 20 extra pounds around all day yesterday. I love when they come for a visit BUT I really love those tail lights leaving the house!!! I'm thankful that they live only an hour away. Love them while they are little because they grow up so fast.

Hey Coty. I appreciate you volunteering but for once I don't have to plan this one. Our son is marrying a wonderful girl from Mt. Pleasant. They met at Carolina through friends and they have been together for 3 yrs now. She has gone back to law school and will join her dad's firm in Charleston. Josh works at The Charleston Place Hotel and will eventually work for his father-in-law(hope being around 'dad' all the time will work out!!). They set the date for May 22, 2010. We are letting them decide where they would like the rehearsal party. All we will have to do is hand over the cash! It will be good getting to see everyone again. Seems like the only time I see classmates are at funerals. I do see Sissy and David some. We have the Welch boys and spouses along with the Williamson crew for a get together once a year. We eat, reminisce, laugh and have a grand old time. Margaret and I email each other most every day as well as Ann. Its good knowing what's going on in their lives. Good talking with you and I will see you at the reunion.

If some of you are reading the message forum and not the individual profiles, you are missing great information. We have class mates who have been to Israel, Egypt, African Safaris, Anartica and Wayne McDonald has a long list of travel adventures.
Travelers, remember to bring your best photos to the reunion to share. We may even manage a photo contest but I will challenge each of you that it may be hard to find a better photo than Margaret Mosely on the camel with its head up the leading camel's ass......!
If you cannot download the reunion registration form, send me an e-mail at marvinamh@yahoo.com, include your address, and I will mail the registration form to you.
Take care and we will all see each other in a few short weeks, Alta Mae

By the way, did any of you participate in the Cooper River Bridge run /walk today? I feel certain Joanne ran, she is a runner and always participates; I walk but it is a great event if you want to consider it for next year.
Take care, Alta Mae

I must give a shout out to the Flowertown Festival, its always a lot of fun....and you might pick up something
nice. I got a beach table that you can set up at the beach (Sullivans Island), for a professional beach bum like me. Would any one like to join me there this summer?
I'll bring the Goods. I consider you all my "peeps".
What a great summer this is going to be!

Alta Mae, I worked the bridge run for the Komen Breast Cancer Group. I do it every year in memory of my Mom. It was great!!! After the run, Margaret, Cis, Sissy and myself went to lunch and hung out at IOP!! We have some interesting pixs. Definitely looked like tourist!!! We had a great time!!!

Ann, bring the bridge walk pictures with you to the reunion.
Coty, you must find the picture of Charles and let us all see it, sounds wonderful!
Take care all, we will see you soon
Our next planning meeting is April 19 at 2pm at my house, please attend if you can.
Wishes to Danny Williams who had knee surgery yesterday.
We all hope you are up and about very soon! Alta Mae

Mary Gail Kiser (Welch)

Danny, I hope your surgery went well. You are not the only Sullivan's Island beach bum....count me in! I go every year on vacation to the Isle of Palms with another couple. We have been going there for 10 yrs now. We always go to Sullivan's Is. for dinner at least one night. As a matter of fact I picked up Margaret, Sissy and Ann after the Bridge Run and we headed there for lunch at Poe's but it was so crowded that we came back to Banana Cabana instead. We had so much fun getting together! I love the fact that after soooo many years from Jr High until now that we still see each other. Now that's what I call friends!! I think you have done a wonderful job of making it possible for everyone to see what has been going on with each other over the years. Life is so short so you have to make time in your busy schedule to keep in touch. Job well done!! :)

Hope everyone has a great Easter and I do not see anyone since I have to work Fire-Rescue that day. Danny, I hope all went well and you are on the mend. Let me know if I can do something for you.See ya'll soon, like Ralph said, not long til the reunion.

Danny,
You can count me in for Sullivan's Island bash....that has been my favorite beach for years! the most beautiful sunsets can be seen there with Charleston in the background if you walk far enough down the beach... how is your new knee, I believe it was your knee??
