Deborah, Like Cis, I wish I could be there, but I would arrive a little too late coming from Atlanta. I really understand the age thing not being on our side any more. It sucks!!!! If I win the lottery before the reunion, I will be there. The likely hood of that happening is slim too none!!!! Pam, I had forgot about english class. I would love to see everyone. Like I have said before, do it again soon!!! Have a GREAT time. Please remember all of our classmates who have passed. Will miss you all soooo much!!! ONE more thing, Danny. THANK YOU FOR THE WEBSITE AND ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK!!!!!!!!!

Oh Pam...do I ever remember. From kindergarten to 4th grade I never went to class by myself. Brenda always hated when she heard them call her to the office because she knew she was having to walk me home. And how many times did daddy get calls and he would come get me from Mrs. Daniels class, take me around the corner and threaten me and I would go back in after he left and pitch another fit. I'm surprised I got to graduate with everyone. I do remember when I went to Forest Hills for the first time(4th grade) and telling daddy that I thought I was old enough to go by myself then. After the first day I was fine. Guess I was a little spoiled!! I definitely remember me and Sissy at the window and 'in' the window at times in Cola. Boy those were the good old days. I remember all the girls skirts were so short that teachers were assigned at the bottom of the steps to keep the guys from getting a peek! I'm surprised my parents ever let me out the house wearing something that short. I definitely did not let my daughter wear her's like that! Sissy and I roomed with Nancy Thompson and we always had a ball. Good hearing from you Pam. Hope to see you one day soon.

It is good to know that a lot of you guys have stayed connected, after leaving home in 69 I have travel to Russia, Lativa, Ukrane, Cuba, Africa and a few other places that I won't mentoined which was nice but lonely with no family and friends. Good friends are irreplaceable and often taken for granted. Today I surround myself with my wife and children and 6 wonderful grandchildren (what a blessing)and good friends. I encourage all of you to do the same. I do get to see Ross ocassionally. I am looking forward to see and reminising with old friends. I was looking forward to seeing Cindy, we could talk horses, I have 7 Tn. walkers, what a ride. take care!!

Hey-was looking fwd to seeing you also & talking horses. My vet just left, Coggins & Strangles shots. The bill keeps getting higher & higher, but have a wonderful Vet-He got his license/degree in the Bahamas!!!! My 30 something yr old rescue "Energizer Bunny" mare Ginger is still going strong and my gelding is huge (very overweight) but they are both VERY spoiled. Let them out to roam at 9 am daily on 7 grassy acres- Ginger has her own shower she loves to stay under & comes to front porch for apples/carrots drive up service after lunch. Yes I feed my horses 3 times a day!!! Not counting all the numerous treats. That's just the horses-you should hear about my two labs routines. I loved the picture of you/horse. Keep in touch okay?

Somebody help me remember to call Ann. We ought to be able to figure a way to plumb my phone into the DJ's system somehow.

I can't decide whether to stay at the Hotel Hayne or the Lady Lafayette.

Alta Mae Marvin

We had a great time last night, According to Paul we had 58 or 60 people. Everyone looks great! Joanne is leading a walk in the Great Swamp at 10:00 this morning and some of us will meet at the County Club to decorate at 3:00 and then the reunion at 7:00. Lots of people had cameras, Donald Fraser, Carolyn Wilson's husband, John Charles Sineath, some serious photos were taken.
See you all tonight, if you are not coming and want us to call you, as Ann has requested, send us your phone number. Take care.....

As Alta Mae said, last night was a wonderful time and tonight will be even better...we will miss those of you who will not be able to attend. The past five months of planning has been so much fun. We all agree that Danny Williams has added such a special touch with this website. Many of us have photo cards just dedicated to the reunion tonight so that they will be scanned to this site. You are in our thoughts, we will miss you and hope that we can do this again in five years. Take care, stay in touch,be safe...all of you in this class are special people..."Never so fine as '69!!!" We did have so much fun this weekend and missed each classmate who was not in attendance. Richard called for a vote by the class and we will celebrate our 45th reunion, so put it on your calendar now and make plans to attend. Danny will be posting some of the pictures for the weekend so check the site in a few days.
Richard, thank you for your leadership!

I am overwhelmed at the response to this web site. My classmates were so nice to me last night. I really am thankful for all those kind words. Special thanks goes out to Pam and Richards wife Elaine, for "babysitting" me, thanks also to Joanne for looking out. I hope everyone had a good time....that was our goal. We will have those reunion disks available to everyone in the near future. Thank you all.(Richard you're the Man!)

Hi everyone!

It was a wonderful weekend. Lots of laughter and fun, good talks and just having a special time with old friends. We are a very special group of people...lucky, fortunate and blessed to be together every five years. We missed all who couldn't attend and those who made it so special in years past.

Larry took lots of photos at Alta Mae's and at the reunion. We'll send to you, Danny.

Thank you Danny for all your work toward making this Website work so well and for promoting the reunion. And, thanks to the hard-working team who put all this together...Alta Mae, Richard, Pam, Joanne, Sissy, David, Danny, Elaine, and Margaret.

Love you all, Carolyn

We had a wonderful time, and it was great to see so many old friends. I wish we did not have to wait five years to do this again. I have uploaded some photos to the Web here.

Danny, I can send these directly to you if you like.

For those of you who did not make it (AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) I had a great time seeing everyone! I believe I talked untill I almost couldn't. Can't wait to see the pictures. Richard was a great leader. Alta Mae was so gracious with her home and Joanne dealing with all the finances. And Paul always doing things you don't know about. Danny has made this website a great way for all of us to communicate. Thanks to all of you for making this one of the BEST, if not the best, reunions. To all who stayed on the dance floor most of the night, didn't we have a BLAST! Stay in touch. Sissy

The Class of 69 has some great leaders who once again put together an awesome reunion. Many thanks to all who worked so hard on planning this event. It was so good to see everyone again. I had a great time and will never forget all the memories that we have had and continue to have together. I am already looking forward to our next reunion.

What a great reunion and a great class. We are the best as it was evident from the crowd and the renewal of friendships. Forty years has been a long time but oh so many memories emerged from the conversations with everyone at the reunion. It was great seeing everyone and I will look forward to the 45th reunion. It is true to say " NEVER SO FINE AS 69 " !!! Thanks to all who planned and worked on this great night and to you Danny for the great website.

Deborah Harrison (Young)

I also want to thank all those involved for such great planning and effort put forth for such a fun time! We all should be proud that we still have the desire to get together after all these years! and that we still have that passion and pride in our class that so many young people today have no clue about. I actually surprised myself the way I knew most of my classmates' names without looking at the name tags (needed my glasses). okay, maybe I messed up on a couple...Danny, I have Paul's poem that he read at the party that I will type and email you to include in the slides perhaps. I loved the poem! Last thing, Danny, let us know when the Sullivan's Island party begins! Thanks again to all!
