Sandy Bailey Anderson

When I was day dreaming in class & Mr Hinkle said "Sandy! Who's buried in Grant's tomb?" I replied "Welllllllllll, I don't know." We laugh about that to this day. Finding Mr Hinkle again has been great. And Sue Blair! She still has a card I gave her 45 years ago! Working in the office helping Millie. She looks wonderful & still remembers everything! Mr & Mrs VanWinkle - still a joy to hear from you. And my continuing friendship with Mr Kramer! I hated Math & almost flunked - now I do accounting. Go figure! It is just great to have connected with so many friends thru this wonderful website. Thank you, Jan!

That is to long to write about! I have a sucessful accounting business that I have done from home for 22 years while raising kids. :-) I have been in remission since 2004 - breast cancer. In 2005 I married Bernie Anderson - we met thru volunteering at the twp fire dept here. He took care of me thru the cancer ordeal & had lost his 1st wife with breast cancer. He is a wonderful husband & father. The kids all call him Dad. Our place is in the country south of TH & it is 10 acres. We adopted my 2 granddaughters & are raising them plus a variety of animals. Bernie retired from ISU in Terre Haute after 37 yrs. We buy & remodel investment houses. Right now we have 10, but due to health issues we have slowed down greatly. It will be wonderful to see everyone again. I miss being home!

After a life time of being sick, my son Steven battled leukemia for the past year. Thru 8 rounds of chemo, a stem cell transplant, & a million tears shed by us all - he continued to fight with all he had. We lost him & he was buried in Mt Etna Cemetary on our anniversary June 5th, 2010. It was 5 years to the day he walked me down the aisle. He is still smiling from above about that. He was my remodeling partner & involved in everything I did in life. 16 years ago we buried Daniel, my oldest son. Somehow life just isn't fair sometimes. Bernie & I continue on trying to take care of our little girls & Kristy. We started an animal rescue a year ago. If anyone wants a dog we have a dozen. :-) Hopefully, we'll see a bunch of you next year at the reunion. I am thrilled to have so many of my friends back in my life. A great source of support when you need it! Thank you girls. :-) And again THANK YOU JAN for making it possible!

I buy abused houses & restore them. Also the vice president of the Clay Co Humane Society & I don't even live in that county! Ha. We run an animal rescue at home.
