I've lived in many places on the East and Gulf coasts. Folly Beach SC, Jacksonville, Key West and Miami Fl., Bayou La Batre Ala., Covington La, Jeffersonville In., and have settled in Danbury Tx for over 20 years now.

How Did You Get Into That?

As a full-time minister of Jehovah's Witnesses I was looking for part time work that would help support my ministry. My husband, Joe, joined me in the full-time preaching work after he retired and Pet sitting was the perfect employment for me. I walk dogs and take care of all kinds of pets in their homes so the owners don't have to leave them in a kennel. I always say no matter how good a kennel is, even a "doggie hotel" your pet has to spend the night alone in a cage! If you'd like information on how to start your own pet sitting business I'd be glad to help you and direct you to some websites that offer free information. It's easy to do and can actually make you enough money to support yourself if ya keep busy!

What would we be surprised to know about you?

I worked many years on a shrimp boat. Got sick most every time when we went offshore! Cooked for rich people on a 110' Yacht. Worked on a paddle wheel boat on the Ohio River and went from Louisville Ky down the Ohio river to the Mississippi down to New Orleans La. :0))

Travel much?

Love cruises!!! Best vacation ever. I've been on about 8 or 9. Planning another one for Dec of 2012 Hit the seas on Princess Cruise lines and had a good time. Two of my sister's with their friends and 4 other friends along with Joe and myself had a great time together!

Favorite vacation spot?

Two spots: Folly Beach SC and Mountain View Ark. If I lived anyplace I could choose, it would be Mt. View what a great place!

Favorite food?

Pizza!

I love being out in the preaching work, teaching others about God's kingdom and what it will mean for the Earth. This is my life all other things revolve around my love for Jehovah. I enjoy making Crystal transfers (the kind you see on T-shirts and jeans) Now Joe and I are the terrified captives of a mean Cockatoo, also the happiest "parents" of a loving Cockatoo. Most people who have Cockatoo's as pets will understand the strange relationship between owner and bird!
Joe and I also have 3 dogs, we've added a Mini-Dachshund to our home.

Hey April this is Martha (Robinson) Damian. You and Honey were about the only ones I really remembered from school. I notice you have 14 grandkids that's great! I have 1 daughter she was born in May of our senior year, hence the reason there is no pic of me in the yearbook. I have 2 "step" sons hate that word step. Anyway between them all I have 3 granddaughters 3 grandsons 2 Great grandsons 1 great granddaughter and 2 more great granddaughters on the way 1 in May and 1 in June.
