To all of my fellow classmates of the Class of 1979, I love and miss you guys a lot. The Class of 1979, was a "Terrific and Caring Group of Young People. No matter what religious background, race, gender, economic backgrounds we all got along and loved each other. That is a very special gift that was sent to the Class of 1979.
I am a solider in the Army of GOD. I am a missionary in the country of KOREA. I am loving every minute of it. I am a English and Religion Teacher in Korea. The Korean people are special, loving and beautiful people. I will have you all in my thoughts and prayers on a daily basis. Over the last (30) years, you all have been in my thoughts and prayers. The photos that I have seen on this website are very beautiful. You all look the same, except you have "Gotten a Little Fluffy." There's more to love of you now, we have grown and matured into becoming great productive citizens of our communities.
I got married Oct. 1, 1983. I became the first African-American Female Deputy Sheriff in Manassas, Virginia in 1981. I quit when I decided to have children. I have been blessed by GOD with: Jordan, age (23) years old. He is enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He is stationed in the state of Alaska. He has a very sensitive job. My second born is named Bianca. She will be (22) years old on Aug. 7. She lives in Huntsville, Alabama. She will graduate from Oakwood University May 2010. In June 1994, I graduated from Oakwood College witha Bachelors Degree in Social Work. In 1995, I graduated form Faulkner Univeristy, with a Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. In 1996, I graduated form Alabama A&M University with a Masters Degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in the area of: Family and Child Welfare.
I love attending college. I am thinking about pursuing a Ph.D online at fielding.edu in the area of: Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in the area of: Prevention of Violence towards Women. GOD and I are still thinking it over. I have lived a wonderful live since, I graduated from Fauquier H.S.
My dad died last April. GOD is still good. My life has changed, since my husband died unexpectantly on Fe. 9, 2006. I didn't think that I wanted to live anymore. GOD helped me to get through the "grieving process" and He died my tears and gave me the strength to "go on with my life, with my two wonderful adult children encouraging me to hold on to GOD'S LOVING HANDS. LIfe is worth living, just because GOD LIves. I hope you have gotten to know GOD personally for yourselves, there is not greater friend than: JESUS. Skype me sometimes, I would love to see you face-to-face, it gets lonely in the mission field sometimes. My skype address is: seabiscuit925. YES!!!!!! I use use my track nickname, given to me by the Fauquier Girl's Track Team. I Love and Miss You all. I would love to come and live in Warrenton, Va. and get hired to work for the Sheriff Department there. Stay in touch. Love, Lisa
