Survived By: In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Victoria Dawne Linthicum; two children, Erica Dawne Linthicum of Culpeper and Chad Anthony Linthicum of Culpeper; one sister, Pamela Sue Symington of Bealeton; one brother, Ray Anthony Linthicum Sr. of Warrenton; mother- and father-in-law, Joan M. and Robert A. Hoffman of Bealeton, and countless other family and friends.
Mr. Linthicum was a senior draftsman for Superior Ironworks Inc., where he contributed to designing countless buildings in the Northern Virginia area. He was a past deacon at New Salem Baptist Church, where he was also a past youth group leader. Mr. Linthicum was a die-hard Redskins fan, enjoyed woodworking, playing pool and darts, and was an avid fisherman, spending most of his time fishing at his pond. He was a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, loved music and was always in charge of the music at any gathering he attended. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and son, and was a true inspiration to other people in his fight to battle Lou Gehrig's Disease/ALS.

I'm very sadened finding out just now of the passing of Lee my best friend in highschool. He was a great guy and I can't believe he is gone. I wish I had kept in touch all these Years.Robert (Mitch) Yates
I knew lee more from my older brother dating his sister then i did from us being in school together.I remember lee as a happy go lucky type of guy.If im not mistaking, Lee drove a really cool mustang for a long time.His sister drove a small green pinto!Im very sad to hear Lee has passed on and wish nothing but the best for his family and friends.
