Mary Kay Johnson Schifflet 1945-2007

Mary Kay Johnson Schifflet died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Cedarview Care Center in Owatonna.

Born in Waseca, Minnesota on February 25, 1945, she was the daughter of Russell and Jane (Whiting) Johnson. She graduated from Waseca High School and attended Dakota County Technical College. She married Dean Kruger on January 25, 1963. Mary Kay was employed in the Dermatology Department at the Owatonna Clinic. She married Robert Shifflett on June 9, 1990. 

She is survived by three sons, Tony Kruger of Waseca, Trevor (Stacy) Kruger of Owatonna, and Theron Kruger of Waseca; two daughters, Wendy Meyer of Waseca and Sarah (Ron) Houdek of Owatonna; daughter-in-law, Hilary Kruger of Waseca; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She is also survived by three sisters, Sandra Barrett of Minneapolis, Carol (Bob) Harter of Des Moines, IA, Jane Drake of Faribault; and one brother, Russ Johnson of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son-Tracy, and three grandchildren-Kayla, Kassie, and Alec. 
Mary Kay is buried at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
