  Dean Milton Kruger 1945 - 2010

Dean Milton Kruger died on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at the New Richland Care Center.

Born on Aril 30, 1945 in Waseca, Minnesota he was the son of Ewald and Viroqua (Recknor) Kruger. He attended school in rural Wilton Township and later Waseca High School where he graduated in 1963. Dean married his high school classmate Mary Kay Johnson on January 25, 1963 and they were later divorced. He served in the U.S. Air Force and following his honorable discharge, Dean returned to Waseca County where he farmed for many years. He also did excavating work for few years and worked as a welder for Met-Con. He married Mary (Flemming) Harris and they were later divorced. Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, snowmobiles, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by five children, Tony Kruger of Waseca, Trevor Kruger of Owatonna, Wendy Meyer of Northfield, Sarah (Ron) Houdek of Owatonna, and Theron Kruger and special friend, Cassie Weller of Waseca. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Hilary Kruger of Waseca; six grandchildren, Lindsey Eaton, Jennifer Tollefson, Jordin Tollefson, Jesse Tollefson, Zak Kruger, and Braden Kruger; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Deloris (Wayne) Schultz of New Ulm. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son-Tracy, one grandson-Alec, and two granddaughters-Kassie and Kayla.

Dean is buried at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
