Here is a note from Glenn's wife Judy on August 7, 2016 after I sent her a copy of the messages classmates wrote in the Message Forum:

Hi,
Thanks for the note.  I hadn't seen any of the comments and appreciate you sending them.  Glenn had a really good time at the reunion and was very happy he was able to come.  He had been dealing with a blood disorder called MDS for about 6 years.  About a year ago his health started declining and was hospitalized seven times with a number of issues related to MDS.  We learned the MDS had turned into leukemia on June 2.  With hospice help he was able to stay home until his passing.  (FYI - Glenn had open heart surgery in 1961 and again in 1990 for a prosthetic aortic valve placement.)
Thanks again for your e-mail.
Judy

Thank you, LeAnn, for sharing the note and the obituary. We all remember him as a gentle person. I am glad he had such an interesting career in engineering and was able to return to Minnesota. I hope some classmates will be able to attend his ceremony on the 20th to represent the rest of us.

LeAnn, thanks for sending comments to Judy and good to hear from her--answered some questions about Glenn's heart surgery in HS.  I was unaware or forgot about it.  Still sad to know he is gone but a wonderful testament to his life to know how well he was thought of.  Jane, to answer you, a few that I know of are planning to attend his memorial service.
