
Terry Baldwin Thomas
1945-1984
Born to Emrys Price and Eleanor Baldwin Thomas, the eldest of four children. Terry was married twice, first to Mary Kaye in St. Paul, MN with whom he had a daughter, Amy Marie, in 1969. He later married Jan in Walla Walla, WA but that marriage too ended in divorce.
Terry was a policeman for many years with the Walla Walla Police Department starting as a cadet (the first Diabetic in Washington State thus engaged), and then serving as a patrolman and later as a detective. He attended Harding High School in St. Paul, MN and then Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR.
A wonderful writer with a sensitive heart, Terry also had a long-time interest in classic cars. His first such vehicle was a 1933 Chevy with suicide doors in the rear. He had many more over the years and later organized the East Side Cruisers car club in Walla Walla. In 1973 he gave his little brother, Parke, a 1949 Ford 4-door as a high school graduation present.
Terry died from complications from Diabetes when he was 38.
