Danita B. Missall, 66, De Pere resident, died unexpectedly, Dec. 31, 2011, at her home. She was born on Sept. 24, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minn., to the late James and Doris (Charbonneau) Lauderdale. Danita graduated from Neenah High School in 1963. She began her college education at UW-Oshkosh and finished at UW-Green Bay, graduating in 1986 with a double major in Business Administration and Marketing. She married David E. Missall on June 18, 1966, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1979. She was then preceded in death by her fiance of 17 years, Thomas McMahon.

Danita was employed at Deckner Clinic for 20 years until her retirement in 2000. She was an active member of the CP Center and enjoyed crafting. Danita cherished her grandchildren. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Parish. Danita enjoyed reading and socializing with anyone. She was very good at making friends out of strangers.

She is survived by her two children, Marni Rae (Kerry) Bruntz, Howard; Melinda (Jeremy) Desing, Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Linley "Rosebud" and her fiance, Brian, Samuel, Logan, Nicole, David, Daniel and Thomas "Tommy"; her brother, Brett (Belinda) Lauderdale, White Lake, Wis.; her sister, Melanie Lauderdale, Green Bay; mother-in-law, Hazel Missall, Neenah; her in-laws, Dennis (Susie) Missall, Arbor Vitae; Don (Ruth) Missall, Fremont; Deb (Bill) Brown, Neenah; and many nieces and nephews, especially James "Buddy" Taylor Maitland.

         Danita was in our class K through fourth grade.
