Richard A. Kloos  1945-2011

    Richard was in our class in 7th and 8th grades.

Richard A. Kloos (Rick), 66, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011. He was born September 9, 1945 to Arthur &Adaline Kloos in St. Paul, MN. He attended Concordia Academy from age 13 through college. Rick Enlisted in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970 where he served in Pleiku &Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam from 1968-1969. He was Commander for the Santee, CA VFW Post 9327, and now a member of VFW Post 3242. He worked as a building contractor until moving to Las Cruces in 2003. He built several homes here and loved it. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy, Mother Adeline, Brothers Tim &Roger, and Sister Sandy. His golden retriever, Sunny, and pound puppy, Princess, miss him greatly. He absolutely loved his country. His ashes will be inurned at Fort Bliss at 11 AM on November 22, 2011.
